My second large Cool Globe, originally created for Southwest Airlines about the importance of giving employees the time and incentive to volunteer is on currently on display in Vancouver, at
Science World outside TELUS World of Science. This exhibit showcases giant globes created by artists depicting solutions to climate change. My globe has been on tour for the last couple years from San Francisco to San Diego, L.A., and Houston. Stop by the exhibit if you are in Vancouver in the next few months.
On Sunday, October 2, my re-furbished Cool Globe "Nature Nurture: Raise Future Environmentalists" was part of the Greenbelt Cultural Center Grand Opening Celebration, in the Greenbelt Forest Preserve at 1215 Green Bay Rd in North Chicago. Lake County built a stunning new "green" facility. The giant banquet hall has a beautiful wall of windows looking out into the forest, and a "living wall" which you have to see to appreciate. My globe is permanently showcased out in front of the building .
